How do I add new languages to Eclipse? [message #1766507] Thu, 22 June 2017 06:48 Go to next message

How do I add new languages to Eclipse? I know this should be simple. But I don't see any help that addresses it directly. I know you must add plugins, but I don't see an obvious way to do that. Can anyone help me out?

Open your Eclipse, pick from the Help menu the Install New Software entry. For the 'work with' drop-down box, pick your Eclipse repository, or in desperate cases, pick the '--All Available Sites--' entry, wait till the list below is populated and pick your choices.

C++ support is in CDT (C Develoment Tookit) in 'Programming Languages'.
Javascript is in 'Web, XML, JavaEE and OSGi Enterprise Development'.
