To me it looks like you tried an install with "Contact all update sites during install to find required software" unchecked. index.php/fa/29615/0/

Alternatively, you don't have "http://download.eclipse.org/releases/neon" (where neon is the version of Eclipse you have) in the Work With software list. But this should only happen if you have obtained your Eclipse install from somewhere other than eclipse.org/downloads

If neither of the above describes your situation, please expand on how you arrived at the error. What exactly (URL/name) are you installing into which version of Eclipse?

Hi Jagan,
Please follow previous post and check "Contact all update sites ...". In your screenshot website.PNG, it is unchecked.

Hi Jagan,

That is bizarre. If you are on a corporate network you may need to set-up proxies/etc.

However as I don't know what is going wrong, I can give you a workaround:

1) Download Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/eclipse-packages/) - in addition to the Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers you already have

2) Unzip/untar both packages into different directories

3) Start the C/C++ version

4) From the File menu -> Import, Choose Install -> From Existing Installation, press Next

index.php/fa/29755/0/

5) Select the Java installation location to import from, press Select All and then finish the wizard.

index.php/fa/29757/0/

6) You should now have Eclipse with Java and C/C++ Dev environments.
