Where is the documentation for latest EMF release? [message #1764887] Fri, 02 June 2017 17:26 Go to next message

Hi,

How do I end up with a local copy of the javadocs for v 2.12.0 of EMF and XSD?

The latest release that I can download appears to be 2.12.0 but I cannot find any javadoc links for download. I'm probably missing something quite basic here. I just want to have javadocs for the latest release I've downloaded. I cannot even find online versions. What am I missing here?

I have a feeling we didn't generate them. They're not listed here: https://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/javadoc/
Perhaps open a Bugzilla asking for one....

I'm not sure much significant in terms of public APIs and Javadoc have changed in 2.12, so the 2.11 Javadoc should be 99.9% good enough...

Thanks a lot Ed. I was not sure about the magnitude of changes from the previous versions. Can I assume the same for XSD?

I'm also trying to figure out where is XSDMainTest now, it is mentioned in a number of posts in the forums as well as the XSD FAQ.

It's even more so true for XSD. No Javadoc changed for that.
