Cannot start test execution after updating to version 8.4 [message #1755201] Tue, 28 February 2017 23:18 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I have a problem after updating jubula to version 8.4. I have run successfully my project and exported all of my projects from my databases with 8.3 version. Then I have copied all files to another machine, install version 8.4 and import all files. And now, I can't execute the project one more time on 8.4.
Could you support me to resolve the problem.

Thanks

Hello,
I assume you are using a rcp Application? If this is correct, you must also replace the rcp accessor in the Application you are testing.

If this does not help can you describe the problem more detailed, because the screenshot is just saying that you can not execute a test (but i see not that a AUT is running)

Hi,

Yep I'm using a rcp Application, let me know how to replace the rcp accessor in the Application ?
I have followed steps below:
1. After creating test suite, I have run successfully in 8.3 version.
2. Test -> Export All
3. Install version 8.4 on another machine, import all files in steps 2.
4. Edit link in Executable File Name in AUT configuration.
5. Start AUT and connect it.
After 5 steps , I cann't run executation test. Could you check for me what is problem?

Thanks

Hi,

I have extracted rcp-support.zip to find config.ini file, but I can't find it (see attached picture).
I also run AUT application with option -clean (autagent.exe -clean) but nothing have changed
Let me know if someone have another way?

Thanks

Hi Trung,

the config.ini file is not included in the zip-file. Instead, the documentation refers to the config.ini file of your RCP application. Further detail can be found in our documentation [1].
Also, the -clean argument should be used as an AUT argument for your application and not as an argument for autagent.exe or any other application that comes from us.

Best regards,
Kevin
