How to handle the random numbers within the .cproject file? [message #1754952] Fri, 24 February 2017 08:12

There are multiple random numbers in the .cproject file. They seem to change as well from time to time. This is a not good solution when it comes to version control: Unnecessary changes are not welcome.

Why are they there?
What is the use of them?
Why are the numbers changed from time to time?
When are they changed?
Can they be removed? (What do I loose if I remove them?)
How should they be handled in a version control environment?
