So I just downloaded Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers with mylyn intergration, and i met a few problems and i need a few advices.

1. I'm new to programming, i would like to learn how to program in C++ with Eclipse. therefore, I would like some recommendations on a pdf or e-book i could learn from.

2.Like most people, i had the exit code 13 issue. I downloaded the 64-bit version, but im unclear of my java version, little help of which java to download?

1. This link has a comprehensive list of books: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/388242/the-definitive-c-book-guide-and-list
2. If your OS is 64-bit, download and install 64-bit JRE 8, e.g. from Oracle.
