Can not open certain views in Java browsing and Debug perspectives; so far reproduced on Declaration, Display, Console, Progress, Error Log, Javadoc, Problems, Search, Task list, Tasks, SQL Results. Other views, e.g. Ant, Outline open fine on any and/or all perspectives

Eclipse version: Neon.2 (4.6.2-20161208-0600), but was reproducible in Neon.1 also.
OSX version: Sierra (10.12.3)

Any exceptions in the logs?
Is that an existing install, or freshly installed? In the former case: does "Perspective > Reset Perspective ..." help?
