Autocomplete items with tabstops? [message #1752831] Fri, 27 January 2017 19:31

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible in Eclipse to create autocomplete items with tabstops?

Looking at the ICompletionProposal interface, it seems that I can only provide text to be replaced, and not text that represents individual tabstops or caret positions (like snippets)?

Is there an extension the the ICompletionProposal mechanism to achieve this? If so, can you point me in the way of documentation?

Thanks,

Chris
