Hi,
i have a problem with the SpaceTreeLayoutAlgorithm . So if in my example was a root and on this root were some more children and the size of the open window was to small , only the root was correctly draw. The children were draw in the left upper corner.
Here a simple example.

Hi Julia,

thank you for your involvement. I can reproduce the error on my system with the latest version of GEF, and created a Bugzilla ticket to keep track of the issue [1]. Besides, I noticed other inconveniences while playing with the example. The most annoying one being that layout moves the nodes out of the viewport in many situations (e.g. increasing the viewport's width), for which I created a separate ticket [2].

If you encounter any more problems of such kind, feel free to report them directly at the Bugzilla [3] (or start a discussion here if unsure).
