Quickfix Tooltip Description Formatting [message #1751890] Mon, 16 January 2017 09:35 Go to next message

Hello everyone!

I am currently developing quickfixes for some Xtext language and would like to beautify the displayed quickfix information by some formatting.

In particular, I would like to highlight several parts of the tooltip in bold and/or with color. Is this possible and if yes, what would I have to change to display such a tooltip?

best regards

i dont know a way to do this out of the box. maybe you can style the styledtext inside

org.eclipse.xtext.ui.editor.hover.AnnotationWithQuickFixesHover.AnnotationInformationControl

unfortunately this code is not really extenable/customizable

=> you mean need to do large copy&paste
