Hi all,
I tested some embedded editors on OLE documents (as Word, Excel or
Powerpoint documents) and their pull-down menus don't work correctly in
the main menu bar of my IDE (or of my RCP application).
Here are some examples of what happens:
1) Word document editor embedded in my IDE.
- In this case, all menus work well, except the File menu that
doesn't include the real pull-down menu of the Microsoft word
application
2) Excel or Powerpoint document editor embeded in my IDE
or RCP application
- In this case, all Excel menus are visible but don't contain any
submenus or subitems.
3) Word document editor embedded in RCP application
- In this case, it appends that when I browse the pull-down menu,
the word application freezes and take 100% of CPUS until I
kill the task in the task manager.
Are they known bugs? What can I do to solve the problem.
Thanks
Vincent

I see this too. Please file a bug report against Platform UI.
