First of all I am relatively new to this and coding in general.

I am trying to make something similar to a highlighter that ppl know from college or school in general. I can color anything that I declare as important for myself. Is there already a plugin that does this or do I have to give it a shot myself. I've checked a few sites so far and haven't found anything on it yet.

Is there something I'd have to look out for while trying myself at this plugin or is it a farely easy one? I wanna just be able to mark a piece of code then press a button and it's colored or the other way round.

Any help or tips are highly appreciated. And no I am not looking for a final solution just some help on the way.
