eclipse freezes many times during working hours [message #1747353]

hello guys,
I'm kind of new to Eclipse and I've been having a hard time with Eclipse freezing many times during my working hours. Sometimes it gets so jammed I have to close it and restart the computer again. I think the problem is the anti-virus that ruins the entire computer. Is there a way to make Eclipse less sensitive to the anti-virus so that it stops freezing all the time?

I know I've run into problems with anti-virus software locking files causing all kinds of phantom permission denied problems. If you suspect this kind of problem, try to configure the software to not scan folders where you keep the files that are in your workspace (and probably not the folders where the installation itself is stored).
