Hi !

Is there a way to extend the default ecore Design Viewpoint ?

I would like to add a tool to create a class diagram showing the lineage of a given interface.

Hi Thomas,

You can extend existing diagrams in a viewpoint by using diagram extensions. I suggest you to take a look here[1] for more details.
Diagram extensions will add additional layers to provide additional tools or overriding existing mappings etc.
