How to get out of Debug mode? [message #1746501] Mon, 31 October 2016 05:54 Go to next message

Hi, I'm new to eclipse. I'm testing out some Java Maven project which runs on jetty. Anyway, not that it is running in Debug mode or is stopped - I cannot tell, most of the icons in the toolbar are greyed out - I don't know how to get back into the "normal" view I'm used to. I.e., project explorer window in the left etc.

Windows->Show doesn't even list the project view as choice.

It sounds like you're in the Debug Perspective. You can open and switch between Perspectives from the Window menu, or by using the switcher in the toolbar once you've become familiar with the concept.

The Workbench User Guide covers this and other concepts that might make things a little more clear. http://help.eclipse.org/neon/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/concepts/concepts-4.htm?cp=0_2_2
