Hi everyone,

I have to propose a meta-model that describes the runtime adaptation of a system. so I am wondering, how can I design this meta-model ? and what to put in it?

otherwise, what are rules to design a correct EMF meta-model?

thank you

Hello,

Your question is too generic : a system of what ? to do what ? what is the problem with your metamodel ?
You should reduce your big problem to some specifics points.

For your second question, I think a good start is to look on UML, because the EMF meta-modelling way is really inspired of the class diagram one, and you'll find more topic on UML.

Hi Aurélien and thank you for your response. my Metamodel describes the adaptation of user interfaces at the runtime. I make a metamodel (a draft ) that designs context, the user interface and adaptation rules but i don't know if it is correct..

can I send you my proposition in a private mail ?

Hello, I'm not really an expert, but I can take a look on it.

You can send it to a.mora@yopmail.com (trash mail).
