HI,

I want to install MSP430 GCC in my MAC and I am following the instructions as mentioned below

openwsn.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=11534370

But when i open the Tool Manager, I am unable to add the tool chain folder, it returns nothings after I press ok.

Can someone help me with it?

Thanks

Hi,

I do not use MAC but I'm using MSP430GCC , maybe I can help anyway.

What do you exactly mean with:
But when i open the Tool Manager, I am unable to add the tool chain folder, it returns nothings after I press ok.

You have to select the top folder of the tool chain. In my case it
is the folder "msp430-toolchain-win-x86-3.0" . In this folder there are the other folders of the tool chain like bin, include, lib, etc.

If you select an other folder, you will not see anything in the Tool Manager after pushing OK.

Maybe this helps.

Regards
