[Properties View] Use "Hyperlink" on Nevigation to other diagram [message #1740665]

How can I use Hyperlink to Neviagte to the diagram of the selected item?

Currently:
I can use the "Begin" function in "Double Click" (in "Section" of a diagram) to "Nevigation" to the selected item.
I can also use the "Begin" function in Hyperlink to change the name of the selected item.
Also, I confirmed that the selected item (or Object) should be the same in "Double Click" (in "Section" of a diagram) and "Hyperlink" (in "Properties View Description"). So, I think it may not be the problem of wrong use of "Change Context".

Can anyone tell me where is wrong. Or, can someone provide a sample of the usage of "Hyperlink" in "Properties View Description" for Nevigation.

Hi.

I confirm its a bug in the current version. Thanks for catching it!

I've opened https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=499885 and am investigating. I understand *why* the bug occurs but do not have a fix just now. I'll comment on the bug with what I find.

Actually, the fix was trivial, so it should be merged on master soos, and backported in the next maintenance version (Sirius 4.0.1, which will be released as part of Neon.1). See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=499886.

looking forward to the next version.

By the way, Is this bugfix for every Navigation method?
I might use the Reference （of properties view description）for Navigation as well.

Yes, the fix is for all operations which are defined inside properties view and which need to open a representation or a dialog box to ask something from the end-user (at least the ones which do this using the standard Sirius mechanism).
