Hello,

I seem to have trouble installing Eclipse mars 2 to my laptop.
When I extracted it the first time it said the file path was too long so I stopped extracting and deleted the folder and tried extracting it again. This time it seemed to extract everything but when I tried to open it, it came up with:
Java was started but returned exit code=13.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Senior Member

Read the sticky note on the forum web page. Or use the installer
instead; it checks to make sure you have an appropriate version of Java
installed.
