Actions and Object Nodes [message #1739710] Thu, 04 August 2016 04:33 Go to next message

Hello,

The book entitled SysML Distilled contains a diagram showing an object node between two actions: a Measure Altitude Action generates via a stream an Altitude Object Node in kilometers, which is then consumed by an Opaque Action whose expression is currentOrbitRadius = currentAltitude + earth.radius.

I have a few questions:
- what kind of Papyrus SysML should I use for the first action: Create Object Action or Send Object Action?
- is there a way to display an object node in a Papyrus Activity Diagram? I couldn't find one. Instead, I created a km Primitive Type in a Block Diagram , which I used to type the first action's (Measure Altitude Action) output pin.

Many thanks.

Philippe

Here's what I have found so far:
- the Call Behavior Action should be used for the first action
- you can't display object nodes in Papyrus
The uploaded image shows how I created the Measure Altitude Activity Diagram with Papyrus.
