After selecting the "Finish" button on the GDT pulldown for "New Web Application Project" to create a GWT app, Eclipse immediately crashed in the JRE with the attached log file, hs_err_pid7620.log.

Platform: Windows 7 Enterprise, Service Pack 1

Java Version: "1.8.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_25-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.25-b02, mixed mode)

Eclipse:
Java EE IDE for Web Developers
Version: Mars Release (4.50)
Build id: 20150621-1200

Any suggestions for resolving are greatly appreciated .. thanks!

Perhaps a newer version of Java 8 fixes the problem in the JRE.

Hi Ed,

Your suggestion of updating my Java JRE took care of the crash. As a result I installed the much newer JRE 8.101 and so far so good. Much obliged!
