Hi,

is there a way to configure a perspective within an Oomph setup file?
E.g. change the default Plug-In Development perspective, or add a custom perspective.

Thanks,
Harald

Harald,

No, we have some prototype work for that, but nothing you can use today.

Hi, Ed,

Isn't there an Eclipse Launcher command-line option that can set the
initial perspective, which Oomph can add to the eclipse.ini using an
"Eclipse Ini" task?

-perspective your.perspective.id.here

Christian,

Yes, but that doesn't let you configure an existing perspective. You'd
need to install something that contributes a new per-configured
perspective. Ideally it would be much easier to do than installing
something that contributes to extension points...
