Organizing and running several tasks in one action [message #1737991]

If I am repeatedly doing several tasks in sequence can I somehow combine these in an action in my workspace so I run this action with a single invocation?
Example:
1. clean and build project_A
2. clean and build project_B
3. Export a Rule Archive into Project_C as a JAR file
4. run as ... java application a .java in my workspace

Can this be done?
Chould it be a build.xml?
Thoughts?
Examples?
