Have been using CVS with Eclipse for years, just upgraded to MARS.
Ok, CVS not there, go get it.
I've managed to install the CVS plugin in Mars, and can connect to the repository and browse it the CVS perspective, but when I go into Project Properties and click on "CVS" I see: File not found: [directory name]\CVS\Entries.Static

I have an 'Entries' file, but no 'Entries.Static' file. Why would I have that, or what do I need to do.

All operations on the project such as 'Compare With'->'Latest from Repository' get "The chosen operation is not enabled"

How do I fix this?

Hmm, well, when I checked the plugin (Help→Install New Software...
"Work with:" "The Eclipse Project Updates" option.
"Eclipse CVS Client" still showed. So I installed again, and now everything is working after a re-start.
