How to reference or associate a stereotype to a transition in a state machine? [message #1735962] Fri, 24 June 2016 01:06 Go to next message

Hello,
Assume, I have a stereotype called 'Failure Category'. Now in the state machine for some transitions, I would like to instantiate 'Failure Category' stereotype to represent the category of the failure if that transition encounters any error.
Is that possible in papyrus? If so, how? Or
Is there any other (better) way to do that?
Thank you very much.

Hi,

If your profile is applied to some package containing (indirectly or
not) your state machine, then you can use the Profile tab in the
Properties view to apply stereotypes. Just select the transition in
your state machine diagram, then in the Profile tab in Properties hit
the green '+' button to apply a stereotype.

Christian
