Hi,

I am finding it difficult to compare two xml files of a different model under the same folder. When the comparison is done, the xmi: id is different so it doesn't match with each other. Is there any way I can make the id compatible or bypass it so my model can be compared effectively.

Cheers,

Ade

Hi,

Under Window > Preferences, go to the "EMF Compare" section, then the "Engines" subsection. On the tab for the Match Engines, you can select the options for each engine. Specifically, the Default match engine allows you to configure whether EMF Compare should use identifiers or not.
