Hi all,
I need to have a property for each object (e.g. Class , Association , UseCase ...)
that when the object is added to the diagram (e.g. Class diagram) the property value will automatically increase - kind of objects counter.

Rafi,

Perhaps you're using Papyrus and should post on their specific forum
(eclipse.papyrus). I doubt such a thing exists though and I doubt it's
even very sensible. I.e., I can have many diagram files and I can
delete one or all of them, in which case the counter is not likely to be
maintained correctly.

Thanks Ed,

My aim is that ,when I read the saved diagram file/s with my own code,
this property value gives me indication when each object was added to the diagram relatively to others - kind of a system time stamp.
By the way - system time stamp value would be fine.
So I'm not concerned about deletions.
For example <Call Event> object (appearing in the Tree View of the diagram)
name property value is increasing and kept in the Tree View though its counter part ,the message object, is deleted from the diagram.
I was thinking about two approaches (which so far didn't raise much success):
Via stereotypes or plugin extension.
Can you advise on that ?
