Is it possible to copy and paste from an external source into NatTable or from table to table? It seems with NatTable 1.4.0 this is not possible given the new internal clipboard and each table having its own instance. Is there something I am overlooking to force the paste command to read from the OS clipboard?

No, you don't overlook anything. That is not supported out of the box.

If you want to paste data from external sources via the system clipboard you need to implement a custom PasteAction that takes the data from the system clipboard and transfers the data in a way it is possible to add it to a NatTable. We have no common implementation for this. But I heard from a few people that they implemented something. Unfortunately nobody contributes back.
