Eclipse Che and XText [message #1733099] Tue, 24 May 2016 07:16 Go to next message

Greetings

I have an xtext + modisco project. I am not the developer of this project, so my understanding of the details is vague.

The basics of the project is: it takes a legacy language, does some discovery, from this, produces an xmi file. And from this, produces java.

My goal is to move this project into Eclipse Che as I believe that Che exposes functionality via REST, which would allow us to automate a lot of the translation from legacy to java.

But, before going forward with this, I would like to hear from the community if this is even possible.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi Anton,

your description sounds a bit vague, but from what I understood it should be possible.
Also we are working on an integration of Xtext and Che.
Please let me know (sven.efftinge@typefox.io) if you want to discuss this in more detail.

Cheers,
Sven
