Service to query itemprovider combobox elements when connecting reference based edge [message #1728875] |

Hi,
I use a reference based edge mapping to create relationships between
elements. In the item provider for the source elemnent I have already
customized the getComboboxElements() method for the related reference.
I would now like to use this in the target edge connection precondition.
The precondition would be true if the target element is in the
collection returned by getComboboxElements(). I think I can easily
implement a service for this, but maybe we could provide something like
this in the services that are provided by default in sirius? (Are there
actually any pre-defined services?)
Thanks,
Felix

Hi Felix,
There is a bugzilla about the integration of EMF.Edit customizations
with Sirius.
See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=482831.
For now, the scope of this issue is not totally described but do not
hesitate to add some suggestions.
