Plug-in specified entries [message #33319] Thu, 15 May 2003 11:24 Go to next message

Hello,

It seems that plugin-specified entries seem to be defined in the plugin.xml
files and added through the extension point. Could anyone please confirm
that plugin-specified entries are not persisted and added at plug-in startup
time by the extension point?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Which extension point are you referring to? It is not clear what kind of entries you mean.

It's the com.ibm.etools.xmlutility.catalogContributor extension point (see
com.ibm.etools.struts for an example). We don't use it, so it's not in our
plugin.xml. Instead we programmatically add entries to the XML Catalog.
These entries don't persist themselves. I was wondering if this is the
expected behaviour since all the other entries seem to be populated using
the catalogContributor extension point.

Thanks for your help

Can't help you there. There are IBM newsgroups for the WebSphere products where you may get help.
