Attached is my call stack. I have a file of custom type which is defined as below in plugin.xml. I have corresponding JSF custom tags defined.

Plugin.xml ContentType definition.
<extension point="org.eclipse.core.contenttype.contentTypes">
<content-type base-type="org.eclipse.jst.jsp.core.jspsource"
file-extensions="myextension"
id="com.srl.screendesigner.contenttype.layouts"
name="My Designer"
priority="normal">
</content-type>
</extension>

Node
<srl:bindKey action="#{Mybean.processAction}" command="W" id="b3"
immediate="true"/>

For above node and XXX.myextension i am trying to get the tag resolver

IStructuredDocumentContext context = IStructuredDocumentContextFactory.INSTANCE.getContext(ed.getDocument(), node);
if (context != null){
ITaglibContextResolver resolver = IStructuredDocumentContextResolverFactory.INSTANCE.getTaglibContextResolver(context);
if (resolver != null){
return resolver.getTagURIForNodeName(node);
}
}

resolver is coming as null.

During debug org.eclipse.core.internal.content.ContentType.hasFileSpec(
is failing to recognize my custom type extension. Input for hasFileSpec is
text = myfile.myextension
typeMask = 4
strict = false.
fileSpecs = [jsp, jsv, jtpl, jspx].

Why is it failing to recognize my custom extension type? Isnt it sufficient if i declare my custom extension base type as org.eclipse.jst.jsp.core.jspsource. Please let me know if i am missing anything else here.
