Double click in staging view doesn't open compare editor any more [message #1722480]

Hi,

before, when I double clicked on an unstaged change in the staging view,
this opened the compare editor. I don't know what happened, but now I
double click and it just opens the file. Help! I need the compare editor
back!

Ouch, i think it's just my mouse doing weird things. Sorry for noise.

Ok so I have a new mouse :) and this keeps happening sometimes. No ideas
anyone?

In recent versions of EGit there is a toggle button to toggle between "compare to predecessor" and "show file".
Older versions might be buggy, try to install latest release [1] or nightly-build [2] and check if this helps.
