Support for rollback/cancel-button for EMF data binding actions? [message #1720860] Thu, 21 January 2016 13:59 Go to next message

Hi all,

what I need to do is a dialog to edit information stored in an EMF model. What I need is some kind of rollback / "cancel" button in case the user decides that the changes should not be written to the model.
In this thread, a tutorial is discussed which realizes this using manual code additions and CDO.

Is there a way to do this using WindowBuilder?

Kind Regards,

Hi Jens,
I wouldn't know how to do it using WindowBuilder, but EMF Parsley does it with just one line in its DSL.
See here:

look for block

By default, double-clicking on a tree viewer of a saveable view will show a dialog to edit that object ...

From the scenario you are describing I guess you can benefit from this project.
