We have Hudson 3.2.2 on a miniMac running OSX 10.10.5. Recently the machine was shutdown, moved to a new datacenter, then restarted. No other changes other than its physical location and IP address were made.

On restart, we discovered some of our jobs, jobs that had been tagged "Save Forever", had disappeared. Mucking about in the filesystem of the miniMac, we've found all the files from the jobs are still in place and apparently complete so it's just the index into the files that's broken.

Any suggestions on how I can update the configuration so that these files from these jobs are once again accessible?

Thanks

"just the index into the files that's broken". Can you please explain that?

sure: attached screenshot shows the status of my job. only the last successful job, before the host was moved, was 71, not 65 as shown. jobs 70 and 71 were both tagged "keep forever" and provided with a description.

my assumption is some metadata got clobbered when the host was shutdown. the hope is i can manually recreate it.

thanks

In the job folder you would see a _runmap.xml. You can delete or rename it and start Hudson again. Hudson would recreate that file. Hope that fix this issue.
