Hi there,
I'am a little bit confused about the password encryption (base64). I think it should it be done on the client side with the provided org.eclipse.scout.commons.Base64Utility.decode(String) and then stored to the config.ini and/or the database.
Assuming I have a UserForm with a userField and a passwordField, what would be the best way to do it? Are there any scout examples wich can provide me with more information?

Thanks,
sven

This is described in the Security concept in the scout wiki.

Further to that, there was a discussion on custom implementations, here.

Hope that helps!
