Image support? [message #1715942] Sat, 28 November 2015 09:48 Go to next message

I get one requirement with a drawing that explains part of the requirement.
Is there a way to embed this image in the requirement through a given dedicated attribute?
Thanks
Raphaël

Hi Raphael,

Yes, there is. Images (and objects, for that matter) can be embedded into XHTML attributes. This is described in Chapter 10.8.20 of the Spec, In particular point 2.

The image/object is thereby not stored inside the ReqIF, but as a relative link. This makes sense, as ReqIF is usually transmitted in the form of ZIP-Archives (.reqifz extension).

RMF currently does not have capabilities for editing objects inline. The editor renders the provided preview image, which makes viewing ReqIF with embedded images and objects possible.

Best,

- Michael
