Hi graphiti-community,

i want to develop my own editor and i would like to build it with the help of graphiti.
I installed graphiti and downloaded+imported the graphiti-example-projects(from here: https://github.com/eclipse/gmp.graphiti/tree/master/examples/org.eclipse.graphiti.examples.chess) into my workspace. I also played around with the filesystem.diagramm. and as far as i understood, this is the file i like to create from the project files(correct my if im wrong). i read through some tutorials and the getting-started help on the graphiti homepage, but i cant manage to build/start the example-projects correctly.
could someone explaine to me in a detailed way, how to get from the project files to the editor which i get when i start the filesystem.diagram?

I hope i could explain my problem well enough for someone to help me:)
Thanks

Jannes Le,

the files located in that GitHub repo are outdated since the Eclipse foundation mechanism to replicate the Eclipse Git repo to GitHub has been cancelled. Please use the example files from the Eclipse Git repo at http://git.eclipse.org/c/graphiti/org.eclipse.graphiti.git/ .They will compile against the current Graphiti version, while the GitHub version is about 2 years old.

Also for starting with Graphiti I recommed going through the tutorial at http://help.eclipse.org/kepler/index.jsp?nav=%2F27_1 . Did you see that?

HTH,
Michael
