Hi,
Could someone explain how Jubula is finding the XPath in object mapping .Is it using any specific tool for finding the XPath like firebug? If so what tool it is using?
Regards,
Pyntamil.

Hi,
If you are referring to the object location in html, then Jubula uses Selenium (currently still the selenium server, with plans to move to web driver) as the driver for test execution in html. I'm not sure how the xpath is processed - if you need more information on that, let me know and I'll ask in the team.
Best regards,
Alex

Hi Pyntamil,
Jubula uses the object mapping mode (within Jubula) to get the component identifier (including the xpath I believe) from a web application. We don't use firebug.
Best regards,
Alex
