I am used to reduce the Search Dialog (CTRL + H) to a single Tab "File Search" (using a setting in "Search page selection"). I never use the other Tabs directly.

index.php/fa/24009/0/

With the Oomph Capture Preferences Dialog, I have tried to look for the corresponding setting. I could not find anything.

index.php/fa/24010/0/

By doing a diff between 2 workspaces, I found that a file is generated:
.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.search/dialog_settings.xml

Should I create this file with Oomph as "resource creation" Task, or is there a better way?
I am now using this "Target URL":
${workspace.location|uri}/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.search/dialog_settings.xml

Jeremie,

I don't know of a better way. This is what we also do so that the
package explorer showings working sets by default so you can look at
that example...

As discussed in this topic, usage of ${variable.location} in a user.setup file is not a good idea, because it is not available in the manual installations (old fashion EPP) and in the installations without project selection.

I have changed the target URL to:
${osgi.instance.area|trimTrailingSlashes}/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.search/dialog_settings.xml
