Hello,
i have a question concerning how java - path variables are used by oomph.

When i launch the advanced installer, at the product-select page, i am asked to chose a java 1.7+ VM .

After i chose the product and project, in the variables section, i can see the JRE Location variable .

How do these 2 variables affect the eclipse installation?

What is their difference ?

This one reflects the JRE requirement of the *installed product*, i.e., what it needs to launch your IDE.

This one reflects what the chosen *project* requires (if it requires it) in order to properly compile the project's
source code, i.e., it controls what JDT will use and what you'll see on the Preferences->Java->Installed JREs page.
