Errors when opening a Mars model in Luna [message #1711888] Tue, 20 October 2015 05:14 Go to next message

Dear all,
When I create a SysML model in Papyrus in Mars, and then I import the
project and I open one of its diagrams in Luna I get a recurring error
for every component "Invalid view - remove from diagram." (please see
the image attached). This behaviour it's not observed when using UML
diagrams.
My guess is that it could be related to profiles in SysML.
Is this the expected behaviour or is it some kind of bug?
Please, find attached a very simple repository where this issue can be
reproduced.

Best,

Víctor López

Hi,

This is an expected issue: Papyrus supports compatibility in a single direction (From Luna to Mars).

The Mars version of Papyrus adds new diagram elements that didn't exist in Luna, which result in these "invalid views"

Camille
