I installed the Jee IDE with Luna 64 bit windows version.

When I deleted the whole directory and install with the Mars.1 version, all the old plug-ins can be seen in the "installation details" and "eclipse market place", in the new installed IDE.

How could I clear such info from my laptop so that i can install with new version software?

Thanks in adv.

This isn't a JDT question. Better to ask on eclipse.newcomer or
eclipse.platform. In any case, it sounds like you didn't really delete
everything in the old folder. Does this also happen if you unpackage
the download into a new folder?

Ed, thx for your reply.

yes. Actually, I deleted the directory, which named as eclipse-ee-luna, of the old package and extract the new package into a directory with another directory name, eclipse-ee-mars.1.

All the plug-ins info is there.
