Hi,

i'm trying to use geoserver 2.8 for the first time as a servlet in my existing jetty9-server.
I put the geoserver.war in jetties webapp dir and geoserver is starting and running - no problem.

BUT: I have to modifiy parameters which are configured in geoservers web.xml in geoserver.war, which i can not modify. I have to do it somewhere in jetty.

override-web.xml is the way to do it, but when i read the doc it said: "define override-web.xml in jetty-web.xml and put jetty-web.xml into the war-file of the application"

Sorry, but that is an open loop for me. Sad

ps: yes, i asked the geoserver guys but they support only tomcat : Mad
