Hello

since changing from RAP 2.3 to RAP 3.0, we get some complaints from users that have obviously non-supported browsers (i guess IE 8 or older).

They get the message "Your browser or browser-setup is not supported, Please use...".

Is it possible to trigger these users and do some self-defined actions?

Thank you
Andrej

Hi Andrej,
IE8 is not supported by RAP 3.0. All related IE8 code have been removed
from RAP client. Even you get rid of the message, your application will
not behave correctly in IE8. To target IE8 users you should continue
using RAP 2.3.
Regards,
Ivan

Hi Ivan

i am fully aware of what you said and i don't want to target IE8 users anymore.

Also i don't want to get rid of the message exactly.
I want to replace it by a message a bit more "user-friendly". Hence the question if i can override that message or may be hook-in before the standard RAP message is displayed in the browser.

Thank you
Andrej
