Hi

how can I reset oomph managed user preferences completely back to defaults?
Need to help a team member who completely messed up his.

Have you tried the following:
1. Open the User setup (from toolbar or Navigate->Open Setup->Open User) which is where Oomph stores user specific information. Here you can simply delete the preference entries (on my current machine they are all stored unter User Preferences, which can be simply deleted).
2. restore the workspace preferences (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4118632/revert-to-eclipse-default-settings for example)
