Specify architecture in product setup file [message #1709661] Wed, 30 September 2015 03:22 Go to next message

Hi,

i am trying to set up an installer for our eclipse based Simulation Framework. Since the application is only available for Windows 32bit I want to predefine this in the setup file. I there a possibility to do this?
When i run my setup file in the simple mode, the installer tries to install a 64bit version, which is not present in the repository.

I do not want to use the advanced mode only for switching to 32 bits...

Thanks for your help.
Philipp

Philipp,

We not given that case much thought. We've only really considered repos
that support all the combinations. I suppose we could augment a product
definition to specify which architectures (and OSes) are available.

Note that simple mode also lets you specify the bitness on the second page.
