Keep tool selection [message #1708426] Wed, 16 September 2015 08:14 Go to next message

The "Select" tool is selected after using any other tool.
If I do have multiple tools and the user chooses one (e.g. Edge creation tool) and uses it by creating a connection between to edges, the "Select" tool is selected after using it. So creating more than one connection without re-seleting the "Connection" tool is not possible.
Is there a way to specify it in the Specification Editor that the tool selection is kept?

Thanks!

As documented in [1]: if you want to apply the same tool several times
in a row, simply hold the Ctrl key pressed while using it; it will stay
«armed» until you release the Ctrl key or select another tool.

This also works for Edge creation tools.

Note that on Mac OS, you have to use Cmd and not Ctrl.

The keybord shortcut is here for all tools in the palette of any Sirius
designers, there is no corresponding parameter in the specification model.
