Web development in Eclipse [message #1708157] Mon, 14 September 2015 05:57 Go to next message

Hi,

I have been using a WYSIWYG tool called Wavemaker for web development with backend code written in Java with Eclipse. Wavemaker have just made a breaking upgrade making my GUI code unusable and I am not confident the tool will move in the direction I am heading.
Is there a good WYSIWYG tool for Eclipse, or how do others work. I am not into GUI development, basically I want to write my calculation algorithems in java and do GUI layout, database connection visually.

Best Regards
Roland

There is a forum, Eclipse Web Tools Platform (WTP), you could ask in.
Personally, and as a web developer doing back-end Java (ReST and
database), I think Eclipse works very well, but I don't typically do UI.

Ask in the Eclipse WTP forum.

Hope this helps.
