Cannot run the installer [message #1707250]

Hello,
when i start the installer, i get an error message with the path to the log file.
I use java 1.7 on windows 64 bit machine.

The log file is attached. I tried removing the installer folder from:
C:\Users\EMAKMEL\AppData\Local\Temp\eoi162F.tmp\
C:\Users\EMAKMEL\
aswell as restarting the machine but nothing helped.

How can I resolve this ?

I've fixed this via https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=476532

It will go into Mars.1 RC2.

Does that mean that the java 7 compatible version will come on 25.09 with Oomph 1.2.0 ?
Or can i download the new version now already ?
Or from now on java 8 will be required ?

Sorry, I have misunderstood. My fix is to set the requiredJavaVersion of the installer to 1.8 so that it shows a
descriptive error dialog if started with less than Java 8.
